No class, exam at CU for 2nd day


No class or examination was held as the BCL students kept the main gate and other academic buildings under key and lock...

CU BCL General Secretary Mohammad Ershad Hossain said they wanted coexistence in the residential halls but VC Professor Dr M Badiul Alam patronised the students of Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS)...

Ershad accused the VC of destroying the chances for the student bodies to stay together and added that their protests would continue until their demands are met...

He said, "the next course of action will be announced after the 48-hour ultimatum expires at 12.00noon tomorrow (Monday)."

Teachers’ buses were off the road but the university shuttle trains carried a small number of students...
