Boucher Ruled Out Of Final Two One Dayers....

South African wicket-keeper Mark Boucher has been ruled out of the final two One Day Internationals against Australia in Adelaide and Perth after it was revealed that he fractured a bone in his left big toe during the third match in Sydney...

He was hit by a Shaun Tait delivery but remained unbeaten on 31 to help his side get home by three wickets but his tour is now over...

"Mark showed tremendous courage in batting for 45 minutes with the injury to get us home," coach Mickey Arthur said...

"The position is complicated by the fact that there is also a displaced bone and Mark will be seeing an orthopaedic surgeon on Tuesday. He will stay with the team and fly home with the rest of the squad on Saturday."

Vaughan van Jaarsveld turned an ankle during fielding practice and Jacques Kallis (side strain) may not be able to bowl in Adelaide on January 26th, meaning selection for South Africa depends on a number of factors...

AB de Villiers is likely to take the gloves in Boucher's absence and both van Jaarsveld and Morne Morkel have been named in a 12-man squad for the match...

Australia, 2-1 down in the series, will be without Nathan Bracken, who has a calf strain...
