Tillakaratne Dilshan carried his bat and Muttiah Muralitharan picked up his 500th ODI wicket as Sri Lanka completed a massive 234-run win over Pakistan in the third and final match in Lahore, winning the series 2-1...

Dilshan made an unbeaten 137 in 139 balls as Sri Lanka reached 309 for five, and Pakistan were then bowled out for just 75...

Dilshan carried his bat, hammering ten fours, sharing half-century stands with Sanath Jayasuriya (45) and Thilina Kandamby (32) and a century stand with Kumar Sangakkara (50)...

Pick of the bowlers for Pakistan was Umar Gul, once again, who picked up three for 45...

As well as Gul bowled, he had nothing on the Sri Lankan bowlers, for whom Nuwan Kulasekara (3-17), Thilan Thushara (3-30) were outstanding in making the early breakthroughs to leave Pakistan at 22 for six...

Last week, Sri Lanka recovered from five for six to beat Bangladesh, but there was to be no repeat performance as Muralitharan returned two for two to clean up the tail and leave him just three wickets short of overtaking Wasim Akram's all-time record of 502...

Gul top scored for Pakistan with 19 in 27 balls with captain Shoaib Malik (19) the only other player to reach double figures...
