Mohammad Asif Hearing Concluded - Decision To Come....


The DLF Indian Premier League Drug Tribunal has concluded its hearing into Mohammad Asif's drugs charge and will meet again soon to make its final decision...

Asif tested positive for a banned substance during the first tournament in 2008 and was then detained in Dubai airport on his way home in a seperate incident...

A statement from the IPL read, "At a hearing held at the BCCI's headquarters at the CricketCenter in Mumbai - the three member panel heard testimony from a host of witnesses and also heard the representation by the Pakistan seamer's lawyer Mr.
Shahid Karim...

"The DLF IPL Drug Tribunal has reserved its verdict in the interim and shall now meet again soon to take a final decision in the Mohammad Asif matter."
