Zimbabwe Seal 5-0 Series Win With 15 Overs To Spare.....


Half-centuries from Hamilton Masakadza, Sean Williams and Stuart Matsikenyeri guided Zimbabwe to a seven-wicket win over Kenya to seal a 5-0 One Day International clean sweep in Nairobi...

Kenya were bowled out for 199 and despite reducing Zimbabwe to two for two, were unable to prevent the away side getting home with 15 overs to spare...

Collins Obuya kept Kenya's innings respectable with 75 in 108 balls with four fours and four sixes as Graeme Cremer's dream start to his ODI career continued as he picked up four for 31...

Hamilton Masakadza made the initial breakthroughs to dismiss Kennedy Otieno (27) and Alex Obanda (3) after Otieno and Seren Waters (26) had put on 45 in 8.3 overs for the first wicket...

Ray Price also picked up two wickets before Cremer dismissed Steve Tikolo (10), Obuya, Lameck Onyango (0) and Peter Ongondo (4)...

Keith Dabengwa was the other bowler to pick up a wicket while Rajesh Bhudia hit out late on with 40 in 49 balls, adding 75 with Obuya for the seventh wicket...

Ongondo had Dabengwa caught behind for a duck and Onyango dismissed Vusi Sibanda in the same manner for one but a stand of 93 between Masakadza and Matsikenyeri (50) put Zimbabwe on the right track...

Matsikenyeri hit six fours before he was caught by Rakep Patel off of Hiren Varaiya, leaving Masakadza, who closed on 84 and Williams, on 63 to put on an unbroken partnership of 108 for the fourth wicket and give Zimbabwe their fifth win in a row...
